vapor(wave)

vapor(wave) is a multimedia photo project based on analog black and white photographs of abstract water patterns. It explores water as a “giver of life” and also its malignant side when it is scarce or overabundant. It explores the feelings and insights we can gain when we closely observe water in its different forms. Either as ice, clouds, or its absence as in the case of a landscape ravaged by wildfires brought on by severe drought.

The series consists primarily of medium format and 35mm black and white photographs. It was also exhibited as a light installation at the 8th edition of the Maribor Festival of Photography.
